Uber Technologies Inc announced that on its global ride-hailing platform every vehicle will be electric by 2040. They will contribute $800 million for the drivers to start battery-powered vehicles through 2025. Drivers also get discounts to the vehicles bought or leased from the supplier. Formerly the company is in partnership with General Motors and the Renault, Nissan, Mitsubishi alliance.
