The timeline for annual general meetings for the financial year 2019-20 has been extended by the government conducting to provide more time to companies till December 31 because of the coronavirus pandemic. Registrars of Companies (RoCs) have been asked by the corporate affairs ministry for grant orders for this purpose without filing a formal application and payment of a fee. They got applications but not approved or rejected.
