The Union of Electronics and Information technology has issued the order to ban another 43 Chinese apps, including well-known shopping app AliExpress, Snack Video, a popular video-sharing app, and business card reader CamCard. This move has made the number of Chinese apps banned to 267 in total. In June, a total of 59 Chinese mobile applications got banned namely, Alibaba’s UC Browser and Bytedance’s TikTok.
