Mortgage specialist Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd (HDFC) announced that over Rs 5,000 crore will be raised by issuing bonds on a basis of a private placement. The value of the secured redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) is expected to be Rs 2,500 crore. HDFC Ltd also said in a regulatory filing that they provide a retaining oversubscription of up to Rs 2,500 crore.
