Samsung has finally launched the much-awaited Galaxy S20 FE which is a toned-down variety of the Galaxy S20. By launching the Fan Edition series, the company is now making the innovative flagship series for the fans. But the idea is the same as the Apple product of iPhone XR and iPhone 11. The Galaxy S20 FE is launched with a wide range of color variants.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has a 6.5-inch Super FullHD+ Super AMOLED display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate. The bezels surrounding the smartphone have flat edges, with a super small punch hole for the camera. This is a 4G variant of the smartphone which is powered by the Exynos 990 SoC, and the 5G version of the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip.
The smartphone will provide up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB external storage. The Galaxy S20 FE has a 4,500mAh battery which is supported by 25W fast charging under the hood. The pack will provide only a 15W fast charger.
For the camera specification, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE provides a triple-camera setup with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, an 8MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP wide-angle lens. The phone acts as a 32MP selfie shooter. The Wide-angle Camera, become wider with the Ultra Wide Camera or zoom. It also has 3x Optical Zoom by using the Telephoto Camera.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will be available at a starting price of $699 (roughly Rs. 52,000) in the US. The smartphone will be marketed through Samsung.com, Samsung stores, and carrier stores from October 2, 2020. The willing users can pre-order the S20 FE 5G and S20 FE from September 23. The Galaxy S20 FE will be obtained in six new colors, namely, Cloud Red, Cloud Orange, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy, and Cloud White.
