As per official data, India’s fuel demand is starting to be flat as consumption decreases to 11.7 per cent in July. Fuel consumption, which is a measure of economic activity in the country, dropped over 45 per cent in April because of a lockdown all the traffic and shut industries are shut down. After removing the lockdown restrictions, the demand increases in May and June as the consumption numbers rise.
