Due to the domestic demand, major automobile companies reported healthy, sequential numbers sales for September. The key reasons for the sales are like pent up demand and preference for personal mobility in the pandemic situation over public transport. Automobile major Maruti Suzuki’s total sales increased by over 30 percent to 160,442 units from 122,640 units in September compared to the same month of last year.
