The past weeks were very hard for Tik Tok as its Ratings dropped from 4 stars to 1 star but now google has deleted about 8 million negative views from play store that’s the reason why TikTok rating is now back to 4.4 stars.
The main reason behind the fall of the rating was a controversy between the TikTok and youtube created by online videos on both platforms. The controversy started when a Tik Toker Faizal Siddiqui posted an offensive video on TikTok. Then twitter was bashed with hashtags banning TikTok in India. Users decided to choose Indian apps instead of Chinese apps and started to oppose all Chinese platforms.
A hatred was grown among users in opposition to Chinese platforms and they wanted to remove or ban TikTok in India. So Google took this step because of the guidelines that permit google to remove negative comments posted on any application in the play store and to protect the application from a massive attack.
It has been seen that Google has deleted 8 million negative reviews as earlier the application was with 1.2 stars with over 28 million reviews and ratings and now TikTok has 4.4 stars with 20 million reviews which clearly states that 8 million reviews are removed. Now Tik Tok ratings are back to normal as it was earlier.
