Consumers opting ways to boost immune system

After the outbreak of Coronavirus, many brands have tweaked their products, marketing strategy, and what they offer to their consumers to cater to their evolving needs due to the ever-changing macro factors.

Many fast-food owners are facing a decline in their businesses because these foods are not suitable in this current environment. Also, brands have tweaked their product packaging and designs to highlight what matters the most today to build immunity, hygiene, and safety.

Post lockdown, consumers have realized the importance of putting health and safety first so they started stocking products. Due to this, the demand for packed foods like Maggi, Parle-G, etc has increased.

Amul has launched turmeric milk, while Dabur has launched Dabur Haldi Drops, and Tata Consumer Products is aggressively promoting the health benefits of its Tata Sampann Haldi. Not only turmeric but the sales of honey, fruit juices, and chyawanprash has also increased from the last few months. As per reports, the sales of chyawanprash has increased by 283 percent (traditional and modern trade) in June, while the sales of honey have increased by 39 percent.

Similarly, fruit juices sales have increased by 30 percent in this lockdown and coronavirus situation. These juices are not necessarily popular choices such as orange or mixed fruit, even amla juice has enough takers. A shot of amla juice every morning is also considered a great way to build immunity. Now people are more health-conscious towards healthy and immunity building food products.

Now people are more focused on increasing their immunity, people are searching more and more about the immunity boosting foods and benefits of natural products like turmeric, ashwagandha, tulsi, etc. to make their immune system stronger to fight coronavirus.

COVID-10 outbreak has changed the world and has caused many problems that are very hard to tackle and it will take some time to bring our lives back on track but one positive thing that has come up is that people have become aware of their health and safety. Now people have started to take care of their immune system. Their priority is shifted from unhealthy or fast food to a healthy one.
