Google Pixel 4a has been introduced in India with new development, two months after the launch of the phone in the global markets with a price of $349 (nearly Rs. 25,500). Besides the announcement of the launch, Pixel 4a also disclosed the price in India with the sale date. 

The smartphone is the successor of the Pixel 3a which has features like a square-shaped camera module at the back and a hole-punch display which give it a similar look to Pixel 4, still unavailable in the India market.

Google Pixel 4a price at Rs. 31,999 in India for the single 6GB + 128GB storage version. The company gives a limited period, for Rs. 29,999 as a promotional price. Google had introduced the Pixel 3a in the country with a price of Rs. 39,999, though the phone was available at Rs. 29,999 for some time during online sales. The India MRP for the Pixel 4a is similar to the US price, only sales tax varies from US states.

Google will start the Pixel 4a sale in India through Flipkart from October 16.

The Google Pixel 4a operated by Android 10 and has features like a 5.81-inch full-HD (1,080×2,340 pixels) OLED display including a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 443ppi of pixel density. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC, along with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM. It has a 12-megapixel camera sensor at the back, including an f/1.7 lens. 

The camera is supported by optical image stabilization (OIS) with preloaded HDR+ with dual exposure controls and fused video stabilization. An 8-megapixel camera sensor is available at the front, for selfies and video chats with an f/2.0 lens. 

It also has 128GB of onboard storage which doesn’t support a microSD card. It has connectivity like 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, and a USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
