Poco C3 in India has surpassed the landmark of 1-million sales in just three months. Poco C3 competes against Realme C11, Infinix Smart 4 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy M01. The smartphone was launched with a starting price of Rs 7,499 for 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage option while for 4 GB and 64 GB variants, the phone costs Rs 8,999. However, in January the price went down to Rs 8,499.
Poco C3 Specifications
Poco C3 runs on MIUI 12 Poco, based on Android 10. The smartphone highlights a 6.53-inch HD + display with 720 x 1600 pixel resolution and Panda Glass for scale protection. Poco C3 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 chipset. The smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel main camera, 2-megapixel depth camera, and 2-megapixel macro camera. At the front, the phone comes with a 5-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling.
The camera includes basic shooting modes, Auto HDR, AI scene recognition. Also, there is a water drop notch for the selfie camera. The display also has thick borders all around especially at the bottom.
Poco C3 is covered with P2i coating that protects the phone from accidental splashes of water. Storage options include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of embedded storage which is expandable up to 512 GB. The phone packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging.
C3 is going to come in Arctic Blue, Matte Black, and Lime Green color options. There is no option for authentication, you have to rely on 2D face recognition for quick unlock. You have the option to adjust the color on the display by selecting between Saturated and Standard options and customizing the color temperature. The standard Blue Light filter is present for night time browsing.
