Xiaomi was planning to roll out Mi 10i as its next-generation smartphone on 5th January. Recently, the company confirmed to introduce Mi 10i in India. The mix of cyan and orange gives the phone a new “Pacific Sunrise” color. The phone is said to be a rebadged Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G.
Mi 10i is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC, which is backed up by the Kryo 570 processor setup including Dual-core 2.2 GHz and Hexa-core 1.8 GHz. Xiaomi’s 10i is expected to have a stunning display of 6.67-inch (1080 x 2400 pixel resolution) with an aspect ratio of 20:9 offering great viewing angles. The smartphone could pack a non-replaceable Li-Polymer battery of 4,820 mAh.
Further, the bezel-less display might come with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and a punch-hole design that holds the front camera with the 16-megapixel main sensor capturing impressive portraits. Mi 10i packs a quad-camera setup with the primary sensor being 108-megapixel, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth camera sensor.
The rear cameras are designed with an Exmor-RS CMOS Sensor and boast Dual LED Flash, Autofocus, HDR, Touch to Focus, Continuous Shooting, Face Detection, and Digital Zoom. Mi 10i has an inbuilt storage of 128GB which can be increased up to 512GB.
To experience smooth gaming and multi-tasking, the phone possesses 6GB RAM and the Adreno 619 GPU graphics.
Dual SIM slots are embedding two Nano SIMs supporting 5G, 4G, 3G, and 2G network options. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, Mobile Hotspot, USB Type-C, Near Field Communications (NFC), and A-GPS with GLONASS.
204 grams of weight makes the device slightly bulkier and difficult for prolonged one-hand use. Further, users will also get an on-screen fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and gyroscope.
