Google’s smartphone range Pixel 4a, was scheduled to introduce almost two months ago. After so much waiting they have announced to launch it on August 3. It is the company’s latest smartphone range. It is expected that the device will launch with a lovely camera range.
The information was disclosed by the company’s own social media channels where they released a teaser of a new range of smartphones with a tagline – “The Google Just What You’ve Been Waiting For Phone”. But the name of the phone is still a mystery. A puzzle is uploaded by Google on a special page of the Google Store website.
The phone was first announced to launch on June 3 Google was expected to launch the Pixel 4a series at the Android 11 launch event on June 3. Then they postponed it to the July 13 launch. Now they finally announced it to launch on August 3.
The specification of Pixel 4a is a mid-range device with Android 11 quality. It is powered by a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The phone contains a 5.81-inch OLED display and an FHD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels with a refresh rate of 60Hz. Excellent 12.2MP single-lens camera with LED flash, Dual PD autofocus, OIS, EIS, and 4K video recording are the greatest features found in the smartphone. Pixel 4a may be launched for $349 which is cheaper than Apple iPhone SE.
The Pixel 4a will be launched with a 3,080mAh battery for long-running capacity and supported by 18W USB Type-C fast charging. It also contains a capacitive fingerprint scanner at the back, Face Unlock is unavailable. The all-new Now Playing and Google Assistant features are found in this handset. As far as the information leak Google may introduce a modified camera in this smartphone.
