Google has announced the launch date of Pixel 5, Pixel 4a 5G smartphone. It has shared a tweet confirming the arrival on September 30 and named the launching event, “Launch Night In”. It is going to be an online event scheduled to start at 11:30 PM IST which is 11 AM PT. Livestream details are confirmed till now but probably it could stream across YouTube.
Google has not confirmed the price yet, but it can be purchased through Flipkart.
Specifications of Pixel 5 :
Google 5 will be the flagship phone of the company with 5G support. It will come with an octa-core (2.4 GHz, Single core, Kryo 475 + 2 GHz, Single core, Kryo 475 + 1.8 GHz, Hexa Core, Kryo 475) Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, 3500 mAH battery, 6 GB RAM, and 64 GB internal storage. It has an OLED display type with a screen resolution of 1080*2280 pixels and 6.1 inches screen size.
Pixel 5 will come with a single camera having an image resolution of 4616 x 3464. Camera features include Digital Zoom, Face Detection, Auto Flash, and Touch to focus. The SIM tray slot is spotted on the left edge of the device. Connectivity features include WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, VoLTE, NFC, etc.
Specifications of Pixel 4a 5G :
It will be the 5G variant of mid-range Pixel. Other than the 5G support, the Pixel 4a has the same features as Pixel 5 but it is not going to launch in India.
Besides launching the smartphones, the company is also planning to launch the new version of Chromecast named “Sabrina”. It is estimated to cost around $50. It will come with a remote control that will have a Google Assistant button. More features of the new Google Chromecast include HDR, Dolby Vision, 4K support, and a rebuilt UI for Android TV as well.
Along with Chromecast, Google confirmed its new “Nest smart speaker”, a bigger version of Google Nest Mini. It is cylindrical in design and is entirely covered in fabric. The smart speaker is spotted in light blue and pink colors.
