The smartphone giant Apple Inc is planning to start the manufacturing of its latest iPhone SE in India. The motive behind this act is to avoid the 20 percent tax imposed on imported smartphones in the country. The iPhone SE is the successor of the original iPhone SE which is priced at Rs. 42,500.

The Apple iPhone SE 2020 has the same SoC chipset as of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 pro and the outsides of the iPhone 8. It has a 4.7-inch Retina HD Display and has a glass front and at the back, it is covered with an aluminum frame. The smartphone is powered by the A13 Bionic chipset. It will be available in three variants based on storage options- the 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.
For cameras, the smartphone comes with a 12-megapixel rear camera f/1.8 aperture Wide camera with some other features including the Portrait mode, along with six Portrait Lighting effects and Depth Control. For selfie, it has a 7-megapixel camera that is capable of taking stunning portraits using machine learning and monocular depth estimation.
This smartphone will be available in Black, White, and (PRODUCT) RED colors. The expected price of iPhone SE is Rs 42,000 for the Indian model. The device is also waterproof and dust resistant and has SIM LTE, Bluetooth 5, and Wi-Fi 6 support. Soon after launch, it will be available on all e-commerce sites and as compared to other iPhones, it is quite budget-oriented.
