India has finally decided to support Australia led resolution on the coronavirus at the World Health Assembly. The resolution proposes to investigate the origin of the virus in China. Earlier five eyes group sought china’s permission on this but the Chinese govt. denied. Now, Australia has moved a resolution co-sponsored by 60 countries including India to investigate in China. TheWorld Health Assembly is the decision-making body of WHO and has a total of 194 members. This session will be the 73rd session of WHA which will be held virtually. India will be represented by health minister Dr. Harshvardhan.
