Yes Bank is focusing on how to reduce the operational expenses by 20% in FY21. The city-based lender will return to network expansion in FY22, but the branch size will be much smaller than the current size. Through such a move, Yes Bank converted 35 rural branches to the business equivalent locations showing that operational costs per month come down to Rs 35000 per month in the September quarter.
