The government has asked Wikipedia to remove a link from their online platform that has shown an inappropriate map of Jammu and Kashmir, The Ministry of Electronics and IT has declared an order under Section 69A of the IT Act, 2000 directing Wikipedia to remove the link, say sources. The matter had been highlighted by a Twitter user, who spotted that the Wikipedia page on the India-Bhutan relationship is showing incorrectly depicted the map of Jammu Kashmir, and requested the government to take action.
