The Centre has issued notices to Amazon, Flipkart for non-declaration of ‘Country of Origin’

Notices carry to both the companies, that on inspection the worried advertisements, it was found that the mandatory declarations were not mentioned as per the rule under the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodity) said the Ministry of Consumer Affairs. And also both the companies to provide the required information and response to the notice within 15 days else action will be initiated against them.
