Tata Group is in the affair of arranging an electronic components unit in Chennai which will be run by its subsidiary Tata Electronics. A government official told PTI that a Tata Group company has applied for encouragement at Meity but could not confirm other details. It will cater to demands of all electronic companies and not specifically to a specific company. The investment comprehensive will be finalised once all the approvals are in place is rumour in market.
