Rs 5 crore was donated by Anant Ambani, son of the Reliance Industries’ chairman Mukesh Ambani and director on the board of Jio Platforms, to the Uttarakhand Char Dham Devasthanam Board. This money is for the covering of the financial crisis due to COVID-19 lockdown. The Uttarakhand Char Dham Devasthanam Board distributed these money among Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri and other 51 temples.
