The country’s largest power generator, NTPC announced state-owned a 7.4% year-on-year (y-o-y) expansion in its standalone net profit to Rs 3,504.8 crore in the three months concluded September predominantly on lower tax expenses. On a standalone basis, in Q2 FY21, the company’s gross earnings was Rs 26,023.33 crore as versus Rs 23,658.23 crore in Q2. PNB’s Q2 net profit at Rs 620.8 cr, asset quality enhances Hero MotoCorp’s Q2FY21 net profit rises by 9%.
