Prahlad Joshi, Union Minister said, “State-run National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) will invest around Rs 30,000 crore for its ambitious expansion and diversification projects by 2027-28, which will help achieve the Centre’s goal of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.” NALCO has made significant growth in business for which the company is going to invest Rs 22,000 crore in constructing a 1400 Mega-Watt feeder captive power plant in Angul, Odisha and an aluminum smelter unit.
