The Madhya Pradesh Government is going to construct the world’s largest floating 600M W solar energy project at Omkareshwar Dam at Narmada River in Khandwa District. The construction will begin in 2022-23. The project investment is estimated to be Rs 3,000 crore. Electricity will be generated in about 2000-hectare water areas by installing solar panels in the dam. When the water level is low, the solar panel will automatically adjust upwards and downwards.
