Yes, Bank on Thursday announced that now LIC has become the 5 percent shareholder of the bank. After buying shares from the open market LIC increased its holding capacity from 0.75 percent to 4.98 percent. The present price of the shares is now 105.98 crore. Before that, they just held the shares of 19 crores. The duration of this acquisition is from September 21, 2017, to July 31, 2020. Their capital increased to Rs 15,000-crore.
