India’s oil imports lowest in June in nearly nine years from Venezuela

India received 3.2 million barrels per day (BPD) oil in June, a decline of 0.4% from May and about 28.5% from a year ago, as per the statistic. Indian Oil Corp Refiners, which is known as the country’s top refinery operator and the world’s biggest refining complex is closed. Other industries like Bharat Petroleum Corp plan to shut units for maintenance.
