  • Google Assistant to support Youtube Music and play personal playlists

Google Play Music has decided to shut its shops globally by the end of this month. Last month, Google gave his permission to allow Youtube Music to be a default replacement to make the transfer options more convenient. Now, Google Assistant on Android is supporting Youtube Music playlists instead of Google play music.

Now the users just need to command Google Assistant to play a playlist without even specifically mentioning YouTube Music, especially if it is the default. Playlists that users created over months or any playlists that they particularly like can be added in this category for playing music.

As per reports, there are rumors that a personal playlist will be created in YouTube Music in which users can say, “Google, play X playlist” or “Ok Google, play X” to listen to whatever playlist they want to hear. Users can also ask to play their songs as per their preference

After hearing these new exciting features, it seems that Google has taken a decent step to make the new Youtube Music a go-to place for music lovers and also for those who want their personal curated playlists on youtube Music. However, it was also stated in rumors that Google Assistant plays YouTube music off of the logged-in YouTube account.

It will be quite annoying for users if anyone with a brand account or client needs to login to alternate accounts effectively switching the YouTube Music account. So, to avoid these problems, there are suggestions that YouTube Music account should be created separately from the logged-in YouTube account.

Also, it is not confirmed that this feature is for testing from google or will be launched. Google Play Music will be converted to Play Store credits in the upcoming months. Google Play Music has been removed from the Windows OS. This new feature is now available internationally.
