Realme C21Y specifications

The dual-SIM (Nano) Realme C21Y runs on Android 10 with Realme UI on top. It features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Powering the phone is an entry-level octa-core Unisoc T610 processor paired with a Mali-G52 GPU and up to 4GB RAM. The storage can further be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot. For biometrics, it gets a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The phone is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T610 SoC, coupled with Mali-G52 GPU and up to 4GB of RAM. For photos and videos, you’re getting a triple rear camera setup that houses a 13-megapixel primary sensor, along with a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. There is also a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front.

The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports reverse wired charging. Connectivity options on the phone include– LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS, micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone also comes in two distinct colour options Vietnam in Black Caro and Caramel Green colours to choose from.

Realme C21Y price in India (expected)

Realme C21Y price in India is yet to be officially revealed. The smartphone is expected to be available with a price tag similar to what was announced in Vietnam last month. Realme C21Y was launched at VND 3,240,000 (roughly Rs. 10,600) for the 3GB + 32GB storage variant. It also comes in a 4GB + 64GB storage option that is priced at VND 3,710,000 (roughly Rs. 12,100). We expect the phone’s pricing in India to likely fall in the same range.

Realme To Launch First Dimensity 810 Powered Phone, May Be The Realme 8s

Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Sheth recently said the company will launch the Realme 8s in India. However, he didn’t explicitly reveal the name of the upcoming smartphone. The chipset was announced yesterday alongside the Dimensity 920 SoC. The launch date of Realme 8s is not known yet but we can expect it to debut later this month alongside the Realme 8i. The Realme 8 series already consists of the standard (review), Pro (review) and 5G (review) variants.

The reason why Realme 8s is supposed to be the Dimensity 810-powered phone is that it was recently confirmed. In the latest episode of the AskMadhav YouTube series, Sheth confirmed that Realme will soon launch the Realme 8s and Realme 8i smartphones in India, but he never talked about the launch timelines. Now, since the Realme’s number series phones with an ‘i’ at the end have always been the lowest-end models, it is safe to assume the Dimensity 810 is not coming to the Realme 8i. That leaves the Realme 8s, which should ideally mean a ‘special version of the Realme 8.

Specifications and features (expected)

The Realme 8i has allegedly leaked with the RMX3151 model number. The Realme 8s will come with a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone will use the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor paired with 6GB and 8GB of RAM options and 128GB and 256GB of storage options.

There is, however, no word on whether or not a microSD card will be supported. This phone may come with a 5000mAh battery, Android 11 software, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, GPS, NFC, and weigh 194 grams. The phone is likely to come with a 64-megapixel multiple camera system on the back, while, on the front, you may find a 16-megapixel camera. Fueling the Realme 8s may be a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

There are not many leaks about this series but if Sheth’s confirmation is anything to go by, the Realme 8i and Realme 8s may arrive later this year.
