India plans to attract firms leaving China

As more firms are planning to leave China India is trying to woo them with special benefits and subsidies. A total area of 461,589 hectares has been identified across the country for land allotment to the companies. This is twice the size of Luxembourg which is spread across 243000 hectares. The government will also provide them various subsidies and decriminalize many civil offenses. The aim is to improve the ease of doing business and make land acquisition easier. Currently the government is in talks with various companies looking to set up their business in India.
