Localised lockdowns impacted ITC recovery pace

ITC Chairman Sanjiv Puri said at the annual general meeting that localised lockdowns have brought a huge impact on recovery momentum for the companies. He also said that the short-term outlook remained unsure despite progressive normalisation in segments except hotels, education, and stationery products. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the constant evolution in consumer trends and business dynamics shape economic recovery is uncertain.
