Leaving behind Bill Gates Elon Musk, became the world’s second tycoon.

Tesla Inc and SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk have become the world’s second-richest tycoon, striking Microsoft’s co-founder Bill Gates on Monday. The 49-year-old billionaire hit this new peak after his net worth rose to $127.9 billion, managed by yet another stream in Tesla’s share price on Monday.

Tesla is now five times more beneficial than General Motors and Ford combined. It is Wall Street’s seventh most beneficial firm, just behind Berkshire Hathaway and just ahead of Visa.
