Change in definition of MSME

MSME stands for Micro, small and medium enterprises. Recently FM Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the central government has decided to change the definition of MSME. The change was done because of the low threshold limit in the old definition and it also created fear among MSME. In the revised definition, the investment has been increased and ‘turnover’ criteria have been introduced.
