BSNL Employees Union resents decision to cut the contract employees

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the union of employees have expressed their resentment at the telco’s plan to retrench another 20,000 written agreement employees. The union claims that BSNL has already retrenched 30,000 contractual employees and all these workers remained unpaid for over one year. The union has also asked the corporate to review its decision in this regard.
