Bharti Airtel stake Rs 854 crore profit in Q3 after six straight quarters of loss

On Wednesday one of the most popular Telecom operators, Bharti Airtel posted a merged net profit of Rs 854 crore in the third quarter ended December 2020, mainly on account of high revenue users and an increase in subscriber base in India.

The company’s net loss before the out of the way gains is Rs 298 crore. The Bharti board also gave an in-principle nod for lifting funds of up to Rs 7,500 crore through debt as when appropriate. Bharti maintained its surgeon average revenue per user (Arpu) and data usage per customer, beating rival Reliance Jio. The subscriber addition, in the quarter period including that of 4G users, continued to be strong.
