Telecommunications, information technology, and law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad’s statement India has attracted many Apple vendors to invest in the country during the Covid 19 period, underlining its attractiveness as an investment destination even during a period of economic stress.
He further said during the pandemic, global smartphone manufacturers had committed investments of close to $15 billion in local production, which will result in smartphones worth $140 billion being exported in the next five years.
